In this edition, ersg CEO Jim Ryan talks about challenges the company has faced after the global pandemic in 2020 and the adjustments ersg made in order to overcome adversity and continue to thrive today. Jim Ryan talks about the challenge of venturing into new markets directly following the COVID19 pandemic, and how important it was to take a step back and focus on the ‘core capabilities’ of ersg in order to stay true to ersg’s original mission to be a ‘specialist recruitment company for the Renewable Energy markets’. Ultimately, Jim stresses the importance of risk-taking in business, and being able to reassess and take a new direction when faced with unexpected challenges.
