The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of project execution in alignment with company policies and applicable regulations. This role ensures that resources are efficiently and professionally managed, maintaining budget and schedule adherence while meeting or exceeding both customer and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expedite project initiation and pre-construction planning to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules and job costs daily to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded to maximize profitability.
  • Uphold and promote core values through daily activities and interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in underground utility construction.
  • Preferred experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling, Trenchless, and Renewable Energy applications.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Capable of following instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Proficiency in handling problems with multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting civil and utility construction plans, specs, and geotechnical reports.
  • Experience in estimating underground utility construction.
  • Competence in building construction schedules using Microsoft Project or similar programs.
  • Effective written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily an office setting with standard office equipment such as computers and telephones.
  • Typical office noise levels, with frequent interruptions possible.

Travel Requirements:

  • Limited to moderate travel as needed.
