Senior Endur Developer

Responsible for

Building, customizing, and optimizing our OpenLink Endur trading and risk management platform to meet evolving business needs.

Role Summary

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Endur Developer to augment our development team. This critical role involves building, customizing, and optimizing our OpenLink Endur trading and risk management platform to meet evolving business needs.

Key responsibilities, tasks and activities

  • Design, code, and implement solutions within the Endur environment.
  • Create and adjust Endur scripts, workflows, and reports to streamline business processes.
  • Perform software debugging and provide postimplementation support.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and Trading teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to trading and risk management systems.
  • Contribute to Endur system upgrades, patches, and technical documentation.
  • Enhance system efficiency and performance through innovative technical solutions.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest Endur features and industry best practices. Critical Skills and Behaviours

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Critical Skills:

  • Advanced Endur systems knowledge, such as position management, deal capture, settlement, accounting, or risk analysis modules within Endur.
  • Proficiency in Endur scripting languages (AVS, JVS).
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Endur integration technology (Connex)
  • Experience with additional programming and scripting languages (Python, C#, Powershell, etc.).
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in DevOps and CI/CD principles.
  • Broad understanding of energy trading markets and products.
