Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead all aspects of large-scale construction projects valued at over $500M. This role involves developing, planning, and executing project requirements while adhering to company policies, procedures, and mission objectives. You will take full responsibility for on-site management, direction, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement project goals, policies, and standards, ensuring alignment with organizational values and objectives.
- Oversee construction management activities, ensuring efficient coordination of field operations and resources.
- Champion the organization's strategic initiatives, focusing on quality, safety, client relations, subcontractor collaboration, and overall project execution.
- Support the formation of project teams by coordinating with department heads to fill essential field roles.
- Conduct periodic contract reviews after project award to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
- Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the Project Execution Plan and Quality Management System.
- Approve and enforce QA/QC plans and procedures across project sites.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and design teams to address project needs.
- Manage and oversee construction progress, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
- Represent the organization at meetings with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders, fostering professional relationships.
- Organize and lead strategy, planning, and progress meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and milestones.
- Monitor project schedules and collaborate with schedulers and site managers to ensure adherence to contractual timelines.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of project plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Implement motivational strategies to enhance team performance, taking corrective or disciplinary action when needed.
- Provide daily and weekly project updates to sponsors and stakeholders, incorporating input from site managers.
- Address challenges as they arise to maintain alignment with company goals and project objectives.
- Take on additional tasks as directed by senior leadership to support organizational priorities.
This position is based out of NJ & will require travel to project site.
