One of the largest independent renewable energy producers in the Asia-Pacific region, managing over 45 GW of solar and wind power assets is seeking a chief electrical engineer to support a large scale wind power plants across Japan.

Sites are located in the following prefectures:

Shiga, Nagasaki, Aomori, Tochigi

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for wind power project development and site surveys.
  • Assist in the selection and management of EPC contractors and construction companies, as well as coordinate with landowners and government agencies.
  • Support the development and maintenance of operational policies, safety systems, and various regulations for power generation facilities.
  • Supervise and manage wind power plant construction.
  • Handle negotiations and applications with electric power companies.
  • Prepare reports for Tokyo headquarters.
  • Collect information on laws and policies related to the renewable energy industry and wind power projects.
  • Perform additional tasks to ensure smooth project and facility management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a Second-Class Electrical Chief Engineer qualification. (二級電気主任技術者)
  • Over 5 years of practical experience as an Electrical Chief Engineer.
  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Experience in the wind power industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute tasks proactively.
