Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Hours of work: 8:30 to 17:00 (40 hours per week)
Working days: Monday to Friday
Position Description
The role/s will encompass all aspects of quantity surveying across a wide range of civil & electrical engineering projects such as Trenching and Ducting works, Overhead lines, High-Voltage Electrical Substations construction and refurbishment including both electrical and civil works.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading the cost management function throughout all project stages.
- Processing of Contractor payments and assisting in Contract Administration.
- Preparation of Framework Tender documents
- Co-ordinating Contractor Pre-qualification evaluations.
- Undertaking Commercial site audits.
- Carrying out analysis on historic projects and preparing cost estimates.
- Forecasting and monitoring of OPEX & CAPEX programs.

- Chartered status in a recognised professional institution.
Essential Qualifications
- The successful candidate will possess the following experience/qualifications: Level 8 Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Full Drivers licence and access to car is essential.
Desirable
The following are desirable but not essential experience/skills for this role:
- 5-7 years post qualification experience.
- Experience in Civil Engineering / Utility projects.
- Experience with SAP and experience in SharePoint.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarisation with VBA Macros.
Locations
Locations include Limerick, Portlaoise, Finglas, Leopardstown, Wilton or Dundalk. The base location can be any of the locations listed and will be defined during the hiring process to accommodate both the team and the candidate.

The successful candidate may combine remote / smart working , with attendance at base for in-person collaboration, the frequency of which is agreed with the manager and subject to ongoing review.
