Responsibilities

  • Establishes a professional working relationship with various vendors, focusing mainly on large scale wind, storage and solar projects, maintain a data base for future business prospects.To manage vendors (existing & new) at all levels and develop relationships with commercial and noncommercial accounts that enable achievement of plans and objectives.
  • Lead and own the ongoing contracts for projects under execution, as well as close the contracts for new opportunities starting from initiation.
  • Responsible for entire procurement cycle starting from Vendor identification, soliciting the proposal & presentation, techno-commercial negotiations, closing/finalization of orders and contract management.
  • Contract discussion/finalization with various stake holders, tracking pending tasks and closing of contracts in co-ordination with legal team.
  • Management of contract post award of Contract to Vendors. Work in collaboration with different functional teams like engineering, project execution, quality for material planning to understand of the project timelines, related constraints, and fulfilment of project requirements and monitoring obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in one of the STEM fields
  • 10 years experiences in Energy/Utility Project environments
  • Experience in handling OEMs for largescale RE projects under both turnkey as well as split contracting Understanding of general finance, taxation, and budgeting
  • Knowledge related to renewable projects.
  • Experience in insurance management.
  • Business level verbal and written in Japanese.
