The Technical Services Manager (TSM) will oversee a portion of the data centre site or a portfolio of customers, ensuring smooth operations. Reporting to the Senior Technical Services Manager (STSM), the TSM will manage preventive maintenance, coordinate with development teams, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and serve as the primary operational contact for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the DC operation by achieving 100% uptime and meeting customer requirements.
  • Oversee FM Services, Smart Hands, Security, and other third-party vendors.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs, managing the OPEX budget and ensuring adherence to change and incident management procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to site operating procedures (SOP, MOP, EOP) and local regulatory requirements, including safety and environmental regulations.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for customers, handling escalations during emergency events and daily operations.
  • Manage data centre services, including connectivity, power, and deployment.
  • Participate in the 'on call' roster for critical issue escalation.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years of mechanical and electrical experience in data centres, facilities, engineering operations, trades, or related fields.
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese.
  • Ability to create and review MOP documents, incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysis reports, and O&M manuals.
  • Proven experience managing third-party service providers and negotiating quotes/pricing for services.
  • Familiarity with Customer Portals, BMS, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.

Desired Requirements:

  • Experience in customer management and leading meetings.
  • Experience in supervising minor capital projects.
