Finance Manager
Location: Azerbaijan - Baku
Work type: Permanent, Full Time
We are recruiting an accountant to join a global leader in renewable energy, on a 1GW Solar and Wind project in Azerbaijan.
Responsibilities:
- Financial accounting - record business transactions, prepare monthly trial balance, ensure integrity, monthly bank reconciliations, report project costs
- Management accounting - Cash flow forecasts, managerial reports, budgets for stakeholders, report on company's financial health
- Project Finance - Prepare documentation for project stakeholders and prepare reports on project financial documentation to ensure accurate project financing
- Tax compliance - act as focal point for tax authorities, maintain tax accounting, advise tax liability, assess needs to involve external tax advisor, ensure compliance with IFRS.
Requirements (MUST HAVE):
- Experience in project finance
- Experience construction phases of Renewable Energy/ major utilities projects
- Knowledge of IFRS, financial management, accounting, taxation, bookkeeping
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English
Must be based in Azerbaijan.
