Project Manager

Inside IR35

Hybrid - 2 days a week in Scotland office

One year contract

  • An experienced infrastructure project manager
  • A dynamic and engaging project management professional responsive to change
  • Ability to quickly get to grips with projects, identify gaps and take immediate action
  • Work with key stakeholders to scope prioritised projects
  • Work with analysts and architects to define requirements and solutions
  • Create budgets and oversee creation of business and benefits cases
  • Create appropriate plans, including detailed execution plans
  • Ability to drive the project/s to meet those plans and deliver the business outcomes
  • Based on governance model, produce and attend relevant governance forums, reporting on progress
  • Adhere to RAG Criteria and the management of Time, Cost and Quality to these
  • Adhere to Project Controls and Practices e.g., Risk and Issue Management, etc
  • Manage the project team and 3rd parties to drive efficient delivery against milestones
  • Close tracking and reporting on project finances, capturing actuals and comparing to budgets
  • Carrying out appropriate level of stakeholder management and working with business to ensure the project objectives are being met
  • As a programme it is expected the project manager will be able to work on multiple related/ unrelated projects at the same time
  • Aberdeen based preferably, but Perth and Glasow are options.
  • Occasional travel to Perth, possible travel to Glasgow or Inverness.
  • We are operating a hybrid model where home working is acceptable but expect 2-3d per week onsite
  • Perth is the most visited location as a central site where key stakeholders work or visit regularly
  • Highly experienced and knowledgeable in the areas of infrastructure and compute, control systems and applications
  • Industry knowledge and previous experience in Utilities of secure Operational Technology/ Control Networks is preferred
