Deputy Security Manager
Role Objective
The role focuses on ensuring compliance with the national and project requirements, enhancing infrastructure security against physical and cyber threats, and improving overall security governance for the project.
Major Tasks
Regulatory Compliance:
- Analyze national implementation measures of the EU RCE Directive and ensure adherence in project execution.
- Establish compliance frameworks and reporting structures to meet regulatory requirements.
Security Risk and Threat Assessment:
- Identify and assess risks, vulnerabilities, and threats related to physical and cyber infrastructure.
- Conduct security audits and resilience testing to evaluate infrastructure preparedness.
Strategic Planning & Implementation:
- Develop security strategies tailored to the infrastructure sector.
- Coordinate with engineering, IT, and security teams to implement protective measures.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate collaboration between public and private entities to strengthen infrastructure security.
- Represent the project in discussions with EU and national authorities, industry groups, and emergency management organizations.
Training and Capacity Building:
- Design and deliver training sessions on security, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop guidelines and standard operating procedures for infrastructure security management.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Track and analyze security metrics and incident reports to refine security policies.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on evolving threats and regulatory changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Security Workstream Manager in
- Ensuring the Security Workstream deliverables, such as physical and cyber security
- Accountable for defining and managing scope, deliverables, goals and purpose of the Security Workstream
- Responsible for achieving fulfilment of security conditions throughout the construction phase
- Interface management with other Packages
- Ensure Package is progressing according to scope, budget, schedule and quality
- Ensure transparent decision making and adequate documentation
- Actively Manage Risks within the Package
- Proactively support security and other processes with authorities
- Define and follow up on project security targets together with Project Management team
- Propose security initiatives
- Providing overview metrics, statistics and analyses of these

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in security management, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in critical infrastructure security, security risk management, or regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency preparedness frameworks.
- Experience in Offshore Wind Security Management.
- Knowledge of the EU RCE Directive and national security regulations such as Polish Crisis Management Act
