A leading DC gaishikei developer is looking for a talented HSE professional to help support the operations of several hyperscale data centers across the Kanto region.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Advising on health, safety, and risk to build a safety culture within Business Operations.
- Embed safety as a core value by engaging with workers, management, and contractors.
- Lead incident management processes for a safe and healthy work environment.
- Support risk management activities across Business Operations.
- Implement EHS management systems.
- Ensure compliance with legal safety requirements and internal management system standards.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and suppliers for safety outcomes.
- Support critical EHS initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Provide EHS training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Enhance EHS management systems for actionable improvements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience of HSE management.
- Certified Health Officer (at least type 2). （第二衛生管理者）
- Fluency in English and Business level Japanese.
- Experience in auditing and inspecting internal and third-party processes.
- Detailed knowledge of risk management, auditing, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety management systems.
Desired Skills/Experience
- Experience of HSE management in a data center, plant or construction context.
- Understanding of domestic and western HSE best practices.
- Other applicable HSE qualifications (NEBOSH,OSHA,IOSH, Dangerous Goods Handler etc)
