Role Overview: The General Manager is responsible for leading operations for utility and construction services clients across the upper Midwest. The role involves building a high-performance team and overseeing the productivity and profitability of projects, contracts, and the team. Candidates should have a background in natural gas distribution services and demonstrated success in project and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure regional strategic goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance sales, reduce costs, boost productivity, and improve quality.
- Uphold the company's core safety values through daily activities and interactions.
- Oversee project objectives, company policies, procedures, and performance standards for all field personnel.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in gas distribution.
- Minimum of 5 years in a management role.
Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Long periods of driving and time spent on the phone and in front of computer screens.
- Safe navigation of job sites.
- Travel throughout Minnesota, Iowa, and the Dakotas to oversee projects and troubleshoot as needed.
