Job Overview:

Oversee geotechnical surveys and foundation work projects in marine or coastal environments
Coordinate with clients, ship crews, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution

Job Description:

Manage all stages of geotechnical surveys, from planning to execution, completion, and assessment
Perform geotechnical engineering tasks related to ground structures and foundation construction
Oversee bid processes, operations, survey vessels, and collaborate with technical teams
Develop survey execution plans, quality control guidelines, health and safety plans, and emergency response strategies
Monitor project budgets, manage expenditures, and review and approve invoices
Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer or in a similar field
Proven experience in project management and team coordination
Strong proficiency in both English and Japanese

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Certified Professional Engineer (Soil and Foundation) or equivalent qualification
Degree in a science or engineering discipline
Project management certification
TOEIC score of 800 or above
Experience in offshore geotechnical, geophysical, or oceanographic surveys
Familiarity with commercial aspects such as bidding and contract negotiation
