A leading data center developer is currently looking for a country operation manager who will oversee the full Japan operation and will be responsible for:
- Supervising all Japan DC site engineers and manage Health & Safety with advisors and local managers.
- Increasing customer satisfaction, minimizing incidents, and driving down human errors.
- Handling equipment and building lifecycle management, implement cost-saving measures, and manage non-standard customer requirements.
- Interfacing with Sales, UK, India, and EU functions, overseeing implementation work for customer success.
- Overseeing new DC design, handle budgets, conflict resolution, and audits, and support customer proposals and projects.
- Leading M&O certification audits and foster customer relationships.
Required:
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency
- Previous experience in senior management within a DC-related role
- Past experience in overseeing a sizable team or multiple teams within a dynamic business environment
- Demonstrated expertise in managing internal and external conflictsAbility to comprehend intricate contracts involving numerous stakeholders
- Proven history of collaboration with diverse company departments, effective problem-solving, promoting employee growth, and proactively resolving issues
